Nominations for the annual Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday. The nominees were revealed by father and daughter actor Ron Cephas Jones of “This Is Us” and Jasmine Cephas of “Blindspotting.” “The Mandalorian” and “The crown” got the highest nominations in every program scoring 24 each, followed by “WandaVision” having 23.
To qualify for nominations, shows must have aired in the past year from 1st June 2020 to 31st May 2021. The official event will occur at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on 19th September, and Cedric the Entertainer is ready to host. The audience will be limited to nominees and their respective guests. CBS will air the event, and fans will stream live the ceremony on demand on Paramount+.
